The perils of lending

I suppose when I lend books to people with tiny toddlers, I should not be too surprised when they come back with new illustrations . . .

    I Shall Wear Midnight is now also wearing charcoal. :) Er, lead. Fake lead, whatever pencils are made out of. She kept it decorously to one page on the inside cover. :)

    Sorry about that! We've been working on where we do and don't use pencils and crayons, and they're usually out of reach, but obviously she snuck one past me...
